Using our patented
micro-electronic technology we have developed ground
breaking diagnostic systems to help detect the
presence of pathogenic bacteria within blood and
blood derived products. The first of these have been
designed to rapidly analyse the presence of
bacterial organisms within blood platelets without
the need for time consuming culture based methods.
Several other new blood screening products are also
in our development pipeline as we are committed to a
high level of research activity.
Our aim is to provide screening systems that will
enhance the blood transfusion process, eliminate
biological pathogens and ultimately improve safety
for patients.
